It's the Goodness
Bernardo Castilho, Chief Technology Officer
Recently I came across a quote by Robert Plant, probably best known as the vocalist and lyricist of Led Zeppelin, and I knew right away it's what I wanted to share in this issue. Now if you don't know who Robert Plant is, we'll have to save that for another issue.

Here's his quote: "It's sort of a feeling of power onstage. It's really the ability to make people smile, or just to turn them one way or another for that duration of time, and for it to have some effect later on. I don't really think it's power... it's the goodness." --Robert Plant
That is what the business of software development is to me, knowing that our products are making developers lives easier, reducing their pain points or frustrations, shaping their projects and the smile on their face when they have the aha moment. This month we received feedback from several users that validated the "goodness" of ComponentOne. It's great to hear how our products are being used, and what users like and even what they don't like. It's that feedback that plays a role in driving our developers to deliver the products the end users need. See the stories our users have shared in this issue.
With an array of new product lines being released, I would love to hear what you think. Have you looked at Studio for Windows Phone? Or, how about Studio for Entity Framework? Email to share your story, and you could be published in our next ComponentOne Tech Connection!
