TechEd 2010: Good Times Had for All
Bernardo Castilho, Chief Technology Officer
I just returned from an exciting TechEd in New Orleans where I got to talk with developers, IT administrators, DBA's, and other technology professionals as well as enjoy the music and cuisine that New Orleans is famous for (like beignets, jumbo, and jambalaya). Excitement was felt at the show with our demos at the booth for WinForms, WPF, ASP.NET, Silverlight, and iPhone controls as well as SharePoint Web Parts. |
We showcased our new AdventureWorks sample which included an online store, mobile Website, and CRM tool (this will be available in the upcoming Studio Enterprise release out next month). Our SharePoint Web Parts also drew a large crowd to the booth. Developers were impressed with the no-code experience the Web Parts' On-Board Designers delivered. One of the highlights included Doc-To-Help, which won The Code Project Members Choice Award. This product allows you to write or import content and then publish outputs for desktop, Web, and print use. We're looking forward to reconnecting next year in Atlanta. If you missed TechEd, you can check out http://www.msteched.com/ for videos of the keynotes, interviews, and sessions from the event.
